Outside and inside the world we inhabit, there exists the Other. It’s ungraspable, undocumented, ephemeral. As soon as it’s spotted it denies it’s existence like a small movement in the corner of a mirror. This is where déjà vu, out-of-place artefacts, and conspiracies, real or superstitious, reside but claim no fixed address. If we’re lucky, they manifest as innocently as Dan Brown's Da Vinci Code or sightings of Elvis. The hosts, regardless of whether they are deep state feds or shepherds-cum-midnight geoglyphers, seduce counterfactual paranoia and direct their social ire at anything from pizzerias to cornfields. Teasing a generation obsessed with collecting information, dates times photos places people, the Other only misleads those who attempt to capture it (most have given up with Ouija boards or staking out Area 51). The only way to communicate with phenomena is to find yourself in a group of strangers, close your eyes, and listen.
